Hyundai i10 Santro CNG Launched Price & Details

Hyundai has launched CNG version of its small car, Hyundai i10 and Hyundai Santro. Petrol prices are high all the time, alternative fuel option is needed to reduce petrol consumption, and attract buyers. 

Price of CNG version of Santro and i10 would cost 56,000 rupees more on petrol version. It would come with company fitted CNG kit. Hyundai i10 CNG and Hyundai Santro CNG would cost almost same as their diesel version. 

Hyundai Accent would also come with CNG variant. But it would not available in Tier 1 cities. 

Small car segment is badly affected by increased petrol price. Targeted people tend to buy other options available or drop the idea of owning a car. Adding CNG option might increase numbers, potential premium hatchback buyers might end up buying small car. Also, As CNG kit makes it costlier there would be mix response.
