Honda is launching "Honda City CNG" in this Diwali with additional cost of rs. 50,000 in original model.A big hit of past, Honda city needed to be powered by different engine, other than petrol. Honda city was out of competition because of only petrol version. Honda is likely to improve its sales with CNG engine. Price of petrol is increasing more and more in India. People's are buying diesel cars, and existing petrol cars are being converted into CNG and LPG.
Price of Honda City Corporate version, starting version is 7.41 lakh, ex-showroom. (Add 50k for CNG version) Expected launch date of Honda City CNG is this diwali, before 2013.
