Tata Nano diesel could have 700cc twin cylinder, common rail direct injection engine. Honeywell and Bosch are working on making Tata Nano's small diesel engine to work with turbo charge. Diesel variant of Tata Nano would cost around 50,000-70,000 more than the existing model. Existing Tata Nano Petrol is available in 7 models, starting from 1.54 lakh to 2.12 lakh. Ex-showroom Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. So Tata Nano diesel price would start from 2 lakh.

Tata Nano diesel is expected to give mileage of 40 kmpl. That is massive! I think, small 700 diesel engine could easily deliver that. Launch of Tata Nano Diesel would change whole scenario of Tata Motors sales graph and also Indian Car Market. Expected launch date of Tata Nano diesel is mid 2013.

Upcoming Car of Ford : Ford EcoSport : Compact SUV : Price, Details

Ford is introducing its Budget SUV, Ford EcoSport in India. In Fact, ford has planned to launch it worldwide. EcoSport would be powered by 1 litre petrol engine, EcoBoost which is Ford's smallest engine, is tuned to maximize performance with saving fuel.

The 3 cylinder engine produces 120 Ps of maximum power and 170 Nm of maximum torque at 1500 rpm. Ford EcoSport Diesel would follow after the launch of petrol version.

The Compact SUV, Ford EcoSport has aerodynamic design to help engine perform better. It looks good both from the front and from the rear. Interiors looks good despite of 'Compact SUV', it contains steer-wheel mounted controls, climate control, console for settings, AUX, USB and more. It has got enough of ground clearance. I see direct competition to Indian Mahindra XUV500. As they both fall in same category and same price range.

Price Not revealed, but expected price of Ford Ecosport is : 7-9 lakh.

Expected Launch date of Ford EcoSport is before the End of 2012, probably in Diwali or December 2012.

Mileage of Ford EcoSport is said to be 18-20 kmpl which is nearer to diesel small cars like Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Volkswagen Polo.

The S6 uses the 420bhp version of the new 4.0 TFSI. The twin-turbo V8 provides 550Nm of peak torque and accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.8 seconds and is electronically governed to 250kmph. New features includes xenon plus headlights with an all-weather light, LED rear lights, an electromechanical parking brake and the driver information system with colour display.
